This article guides you through how to cancel a subscription or free trial purchased via the Google Play Store on Android devices.

 

Available for

All subscriptions purchased via Google Play Store in-app purchases on Android devices.

 

What you can do

Access to the Google account used to purchase the subscription.

 

Steps

  1. On your Android device, go to subscriptions in Google Play.
  2. Select the subscription you want to cancel.
  3. Tap Cancel subscription.
  4. Follow the instructions.

 

Important Information

  • For more details, you can visit the Google Play Help
  • Uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel your subscription.
  • If you cancel during a free trial, you may still be able to use the service until the trial ends.
  • If you cancel a paid subscription, you can continue using it until the end of the current billing period.
