After upgrading to a paid plan on KDAN PDF Windows, you may find that advanced features are still locked or unavailable. This article explains the possible reasons and provides step-by-step solutions to help restore your subscription or order access.

Issue Description
After completing an upgrade, including in app-purchases of the subscription or permanent license, you may experience the following issues:
- Advanced or premium features remain locked
- The app still shows the Free Basic plan
- Your subscription does not appear to be activated
Possible Causes
This issue may occur due to one of the following reasons:
- The app is not signed in with the KDAN ID associated with the purchase
- The purchase information has not been properly synced
- A temporary app or system sync issue occurred after upgrading
- The permanent license was purchased on a different operating system (macOS via the Apple App Store)
Solutions
Please try the following solutions in order:
Solution 1: Restore Your Purchase
If you are unable to access advanced features after your purchase, please try restoring the purchase.
- Please launch the Microsoft Store on your device and sign in using the Microsoft account associated with your purchase.
- Open KDAN PDF Windows and log in again using the KDAN ID associated with the purchase.
- Go to Account Settings > Plan.
- Click on the Restore button in the Restore Purchase section.
**Note: A stable internet connection is required during the restore process.
Solution 2: Confirm You Are Signed in with the Correct KDAN ID
If solution 1 does not resolve the issue, please ensure that you are logged in with the KDAN ID associated with the purchase.
Please repeat Solution 1 using any other potential email addresses that may be linked to your account or used during registration (e.g., personal email, company email, or school email, etc.).
If you signed up with a third-party account (for example, Sign in with Google), please also try logging in with these accounts.
**Note: The Microsoft account used to complete the purchase does not need to be associated with or identical to your KDAN ID. The two accounts are managed independently and may use different email addresses.
Solution 3: Restart the App and Sign In Again
Refreshing the app may help sync your subscription status.
- Sign out your account.
- Close the app completely.
- Reopen KDAN PDF and sign in again with your KDAN ID.
- Check whether the advanced features are now accessible.
Solution 4: Verify the Purchase Platform (for in-app purchases of the permanent license)
Please note that the KDAN PDF permanent license is platform-specific and can only be used on a single device. A permanent license purchased on macOS cannot be used on Windows.

KDAN PDF Permanent License Windows (exe.) version purchased from KDAN Store or other third-party platforms cannot be restored within the application. License assignment is managed through the Licensing Service Center.
