How to Arrange Layers

NoteLedge offers an easy and accessible function to help you easily move overlapping images and items forward or backward on the canvas: the layer tool! Together with the alignment tool, these two functions enable you to make beautiful page layouts for digital publications, collages, scrapbooks or mood boards.

1. Right-click on an item (text box, image, video, or audio clip) to open the editing menu. Select "Layer". 
2. Select "Layer", and the overlapping items will show in the layer tool.
3. Hold and drag the item you'd like to bring to the front to the top of the item list. If you'd like to bring an item to the back, hold and drag the item to a lower order in the layer tool.
