How To Submit Animations for the Ani-Monsters Competition

Welcome to our tutorial on how to submit animations for the Ani-Monsters Competition (#AniMonsters2020). We want to celebrate spooky season right by giving animators a chance to compete for who can make the scariest creations for Halloween. 

Step 1: Download Animation Desk for free.

Click the link to download the app to your devices, Animation Desk iOS, Animation Desk Android, Animation Desk UWP

Step 2: Download the opening frames (optional).

Use this download link to download the file. To do so, tap the download icon in the top right-hand corner of the browser.

Step 3: Import the Opening Frame to Animation Desk

After opening the file in Animation Desk, check your sequences and open it. Here, we have provided some frames for you to use if you want, but feel free to edit the initial frames or add your own twist on them.

Step 4: Submit Your Work

Add your own frames to the sequence. Feel free to edit the initial frames or add your own twist on them. Upload to AniZone or Facebook, Instagram, Twitter using #AniMonsters2020 when you are finished!

Rules

1. Animations must be created on Animation Desk and submitted via AniZone and/or Facebook, Instagram, Twitter using #AniMonsters2020. This is how we will find animations to judge.
2. The maximum time limit for animations is no more than 15 seconds. This is inclusive of the frames that we have already provided (which you may or may choose not to use). 
3. Submissions will be accepted starting Monday, October 12th, and will continue until Friday, November 6th. 

Judging will be based on how creative you are with our Halloween-style theme. Get as scary and creepy as you wish and you will score a higher score from our judges. Top prizes will include Amazon gift cards valued at $100, $75 and $50 USD.
