What is a Storyboard

A storyboard is a series of graphics that show the story outlines. It helps the production team to review the story outlines, the scenes, and get prepared for the shooting.

In animation production, animatic storyboards are used to show a rough motion and timing.  Animators can add soundtracks or subtitles to furtherly present the feel of a scene.

In Animation Desk, you can attach different sequences in an animatic storyboard and add comments on each sequence.

You can find out more information about it here, Create and Edit Your Storyboard: add new panel, add notes, replace a panel.
