Have you ever wondered how much water you drink in a day? Or how long you spend on your chores or work? It can often be a pain to track your routine habits and progress and try to reach new goals. NoteLedge can help you create a bullet journal habit tracker and keep track of your goals.
Habits to Track
If you’ve been wanting to start habit tracking and try your best to achieve personal goals but don’t know what to track, here are some ideas:
- Daily Water Intake
- Average adult water intake should be about 3.7 liters for men, and about 2.7 liters for women. Start tracking to make sure you’re getting enough fluids each day. Set goals for yourself and try your best to achieve them!
- Using a bar graph to track how much water you drink everyday can be helpful for your health.
- Budget Tracker
- Saving money can be a difficult thing for many. Encourage yourself to start saving early and consistently with a budget tracker.
- Typically, budget trackers are monthly-based. You can also do smaller budget trackers for weekly spending. Try to start by brainstorming some saving goals and writing them down -- then, track purchases and go over them every once in a while to keep yourself accountable.
- TV Shows
- It can often get confusing when watching multiple shows at a time; I often find myself wondering how many seasons or episodes I have left. This is an easy way to keep track of your progress.
- Write out the number of seasons and episodes in the series, then cross them out or mark them off as you finish. You can also embellish your tracker with pictures of your favorite characters.
- Mood Tracker
- Everyone has those days where everything seems gloomy and nothing goes right. The bright side is that there are always wonderful days as well! Use a mood tracker to keep track of your mood throughout the course of a week, month, or year.
- Often, mood trackers use grid-and-color systems, where they have a large grid full of little boxes, and each box counts for a day. They then have a color-coded system for each day (for example: yellow is a happy day, red is angry, green is a tired day, etc). You can make a simple grid using NoteLedge’s chart feature.
- Chores
- Tracking chores makes cleaning and organizing easy to remember and scheduled. If you do laundry on Tuesday and have to take out the trash every other day, a bullet journal habit tracker lets you know what to do and when to do it.
- Simplify your process with a grid or calendar, and check tasks off as you go.
