💡 OCR Files for Effortless Searching

Effortlessly convert and extract text from scanned documents or images. Say goodbye to manual retyping when editing reports or organizing study notes.

1. Open a PDF file and click on the "OCR" button on the top menu bar.
2. Complete the settings, including Page Range, OCR Language, and Output preferences.
3. If you click on "Display results on the left panel," the OCR results will appear on the left side after clicking "OK." 
4. If you click on  "Save as a PDF file". The app creates a new OCR file in the "OCR" folder.
5. Once the OCR process is complete, use "Ctrl+F" to search for specific information within the document. (See detailed tutorials)

💡 Quick Review with Side-by-Side Mode

With Side-by-Side Mode, you can quickly compare and review documents, spotting differences and ensuring consistency. It's perfect for proofreading and streamlining your review process.

1. Open a PDF in the PDF Reader app on your Mac

2. Move the pointer to the “View Settings” button at the bottom of the window

3. In the Split View section, you could choose Horizontal or Vertical split viewing. Choose either to enable split viewing mode.
4. Select the second PDF from within the secondary viewer (Note: Currently, the secondary viewer only allows you to view the PDF.)
5. Then PDF Reader will display 2 PDFs simultaneously. You can drag the divider to the left or right to adjust the split view. (See detailed tutorials)
