Organize files - Merge Multiple Files in One PDF

 

Scan notes and pages and import these materials into PDF Reader. Select multiple PDFs and merge them into one PDF file. Now you’ve customized your studying pack!

 

  1. Go to the “Home” tab and click “Merge PDFs”.
  2. Choose two or more PDF files from the app or File Explorer.
  3. Rearrange file order if necessary in the settings
  4. Click "Merge" to combine the PDFs.
  5. Find the merged file in the "Split & Merge" folder. (See the detailed tutorials here)

Customize PDFs - Remove & Organize Your Pages

 

With the Page Editing features in the PDF Reader, you can effortlessly insert, delete, rearrange, and rotate pages as needed. Create your customized documents with ease! To swiftly remove unwanted pages, follow these simple steps:

 

  1. Open a PDF file and click on the "Page Edit" button on the top menu bar.
  2. Among the page thumbnails,  Click and select the page(s) that you would like to remove. (When the page is selected, a blue border will appear around it.)
  3. Click the "Delete" button to remove the page(s) from the PDF. (See the detailed tutorials here)

Simplify Your Search: OCR Files to Extract Information

 

The scanned document is usually images, causing trouble in searching for information. Using the OCR feature in PDF Reader, you can convert images into searchable texts!

  1. Open a PDF file and click on the "OCR" button on the top menu bar.
  2. Complete the settings, including Page Range, OCR Language, and Output preferences.
  3. If you click on "Display results on the left panel," the OCR results will appear on the left side after clicking "OK." 
  4. If you click on  "Save as a PDF file". The app creates a new OCR file in the "OCR" folder.
  5. Once the OCR process is complete, use "Ctrl+F" to search for specific information within the document. (See the detailed tutorials here)
