How to Create / Delete / Rename a License Group

Create a License Group

1. Click “Create Group”.

2. Enter a name for the group and click "Confirm".

3. Once you see "Group created successfully." appear at the bottom left corner of the screen, the creation is complete.

Note:

  • Only the admin can create new groups within a valid product plan.
  • When you obtain permission for product licenses, the system will automatically generate a default group and store the licenses within it. Admin have the option to create additional groups for managing licenses on their own.
  • You cannot use the following characters in the group name: quotation mark (“), asterisk (*), colon (:), angle brackets (< >), slash (/), backslash (\), pipe (|), etc.

 

Delete a License Group

1. Find the group you want to edit and click on the"More" icon in the upper right-hand corner of the group.

2. Click “Delete Group”.

3. Once the group is deleted, the manager will also be removed. Click “Delete” to confirm the deletion.

4. Once you see "Group deleted successfully." appear at the bottom left corner of the screen, the deletion is complete.

Note:

  • The group can only be deleted when the total number of licenses within the group is zero.
  • After deleting the group, its manager will lose their management permissions. Removed manager will receive an email notification regarding the change in permissions.

 

Rename a License Group

1. Find the group you want to edit and click on the"More" icon in the upper right-hand corner of the group.

2. Click “Rename Group“.

3. Enter a new group name in the pop-up window and click "Confirm".

4. Once you see "Group renamed successfully" appear at the bottom left corner of the screen, the modification is complete.

Note: Group name can not contain any of the following characters:quotation mark (“), asterisk (*), colon (:), angle brackets (< >), slash (/), backslash (\), pipe (|), etc.
