Correct Typo in PDFs with the Text Editing Tools

Understanding how to edit text in Android PDF documents will empower you to take full advantage of its versatility. PDFs are traditionally used for sharing information, as each page contains plenty of information. Occasionally, these pages have text that needs to be corrected. With an editor like PDF Reader, you can easily learn how to edit text in PDF documents.

 

Add and Remove the Original Text

Using the text editing mode, text can be inserted at the current cursor location in the document:

1. Open the PDF Reader and click “Text Edit” on the bottom toolbar to enter the text editing mode. 

2. PDF Reader will automatically detect editable areas within the PDF.

3. Click on the place you would like to edit. (See detailed tutorials)

Note: You may not be able to edit documents with security permissions, scanned documents, text in images, or text encoded in languages other than English.

 

Change Font Size and Color

It is possible to format the text within each text block using standard font settings, including font  size and color:

1. Open the PDF Reader and click “Text Edit” on the bottom toolbar to enter the text editing mode. 

2. In text editing mode, select the text you want to change the text size or color.

3. Click either “Font Size” or “Font Color” button to make changes. (See detailed tutorials)
